Matthew Cornwell - Co-Founder of MAVIN, Matthew has been an actor since 1996, and a filmmaker since 2001. His ultimate goals lie in feature films as an actor. He also enjoys the stage, and has performed in over 8 shows locally in Atlanta since moving to the city in 2001.
Matthew received his BSME from Duke University in 2000, and then moved to Atlanta where he received his MSME from Georgia Tech. While at GaTech, he met Jay and Pat through the theatre program, DramaTech. He also started taking acting classes from The Professional Actors Studio, and landed his first agent.
After grad school, he spent 2 full years as an acoustical consultant before quitting his corporate job to become a full-time actor. He is now represented by three local agencies, and is building a modest resume as a professional actor.

Jay D Zimmerman - Co-Founder of MAVIN, Jay began his artistic career in the theater. After many years of acting, he ventured into direction, and stumbled upon his true calling.
While attending the Georgia Institute of Technology, he met fellow movie enthusiast Joel Whitley while working on a theatrical production. When the two realized their shared love for all things film, they decided to try their hands at the movie-making process. Under the assumed banner of MANTUA productions, they wrote, directed, and produced the feature "Missing Persons" and the short "Why My Boyfriend Sucks."
With two pieces under his belt and some momentum, Jay decided to move forward. He joined Matthew Cornwell and Pat Clark in the founding of MAVIN Productions. Since then, he has been a part of MAVIN's ten (and counting) projects as writer, director, producer, and editor.

Pat Clark - Co-Founder of MAVIN, Pat began filmmaking in high school and the passion followed him to college at Georgia Tech. Pat formed Six-Fingered Films with Matt, which produced a single short: "Transfer". He later joined with Matt and Jay D Zimmerman in founding MAVIN Productions. He shares writing, directing, producing, and editing chores with his co-founders.
Pat attended the Art Institute of Atlanta and graduated in March 2005 with a degree in Video Production. Upon graduation, he was awarded "Best in Show" for his portfolio reel, which included three pieces produced by MAVIN. He currently works as a Producer/Editor for PBA, Atlanta's PBS affiliate, where he is fortunate enough to edit movie trailers for a living.
Like Matt and Jay, Pat has a history in the theater, though as he is not a professional actor, like Matt, nor plagued with a recurring, eponymous character, like Jay, he is happy to remain behind the camera.
